Clara Barton Society
Through membership in the Clara Barton Society, our donors receive recognition for their philanthropic leadership to our chapter.
The Clara Barton Society is the chapter’s premier giving society, which honors individual donors who make annual gifts of $1,000 and up, as well as major gift donors of $100,000 and more. Leadership Giving sustains our core services and helps provide resources for new or expanded services throughout our four counties. Their generosity demonstrates each donor’s commitment to the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (note: hyperlink this to the Mission page under “About Us”) and encourages others to give generously.
The special recognition councils within the Clara Barton Society have been created in honor of Red Cross pioneers who have carried on Clara Barton’s heroic philanthropy, practical charity, and world-embracing humanitarian spirit.
Giving Levels
- Jane Delano League: $1,000 - $2,499
- Commodore Wilbert Longfellow League: $2,500 - $4,999
- Lady Bird Johnson League: $5,000 - $9,999
- George Marshall Council: $10,000 - $24,999
- Charles Drew Council: $25,000 - $49,999
- Mabel Boardman Council: $50,000 - $99,999
- William Howard Taft Council: $100,000 - $499,999
- President’s Council: $500,000 - $999,999
- Chairman’s Council: $1 million +
