The vision of the American Red Cross of Greater Grand Rapids is to cultivate an all-inclusive American Red Cross where the make-up of our volunteers, employees and donors increasingly reflects the clients and communities of the Greater Grand Rapids area, where every individual is encouraged to utilize their unique qualities for the mission of the American Red Cross, and where our products and services are delivered to all in a respectful and culturally appropriate manner.

We value diversity and recognize that by harnessing the power of our collective similarities and differences the Red Cross is better able to deliver on its mission to “…provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.”
