Blended Learning

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to take an American Red Cross Adult CPR, First Aid or Automated External Defibrillation (AED) course when you want? At your own pace?

The American Red Cross has developed blended learning, a convenient, self-paced, flexible training system. Half of the training is done online, the other half is in an instructor led skills check.

Course takers can take as much, or as little, time to stop and review information as necessary. This allows you to ensure you completely understand the lesson before continuing. You will be able to select a full or abbreviated lesson or test out of a lesson completely. This helps focus your training on the areas you need to learn. It also becomes a time saver.

Once you have finished the online portion of the class, you will attend a skills check led by an American Red Cross instructor. Please click here for a schedule of skill check classes.

After completing both the online instruction and the skills check, you will have completed the course and you will receive your certification card.
