Designed for 11 to 15 year olds, the Babysitter’s Training course can help you—
- Care for children and infants.
- Be a good leader and role model.
- Make good decisions and solve problems.
- Keep the children you baby-sit and yourself safe
- Handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents.
- Write resumes and interview for jobs.
- And much more!
Complete the course in just one day and begin babysitting the next.
In addition to regularly scheduled classes, the American Red Cross of Greater Grand Rapids offers a number of Babysitter Training Camps during school breaks, such as Spring Break, Winter Break and Summer Vacation.
Babysitter’s Training has been reviewed and supported by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Girl Scouts of the U.S.A., Boy Scouts of America, YMCA of the U.S.A., Boys and Girls Clubs, JCC Association and 4-H.
